ayr converses is a collaboration with Lianne Hackett.  ayr converses aims to facilitate communication between individuals and groups in the town of ayr, acting as an ideas bank + soundboard, strengthening community ties and furthering cultural and economic regeneration.

Chris Fremantle has been working to re-open the Gaiety Theatre in Ayr since it closed in 2009.  He’s been a member of the Ayr Gaiety Partnership Board since it was formed.

ecoartscotland is a platform for research and practice established by Chris Fremantle in early 2010.  Comprising a news feed, information on Scottish artists with an ecological dimension to their practice, a bibliography (always out of date), information on places to study, and examples of using art to learn about ecology.  In addition ecoartscotland occasional papers will provide a forum for reflecting on ideas and projects.
